Declaring and Accepting Faction Wars
If we lose a faction war, we lose 200 glory points.
If we decline a faction war, we (only) lose 40 glory.
If we win overall, our reward is UP TO, 200 points.
As an indicator, at the time of writing, in the battles
we won, we gained the following glory:
143, 138, 95, 146, 148, 110, 108, 104 – Eight battles -
992 points out of 1600 max.
In the same period, we recorded 2 losses, losing 400
points!
To accept or decline a war,
click on the button in the war tab.
There are a number of ways
to declare wars:
You are offered them on the
factions war tab if someone has declared on us.
You can search for any
faction name here (the search is case specific and requires the exact name)
We can only have three war
activities at once -
- 3 wars we are engaged in
- 3 wars declared upon us
- Or any combination of 3 of the above
This is the reason why we
don’t always decline a faction immediately - someone else may declare. If in
doubt, leave the decision of
accepting or declaring.
You've searched for a group. Should we
battle them? Click on the faction.
· (The colour coded
buttons on the picture relate to the same colour text below)
How many members do they have? A small amount
of members with a good glory score (in relation to ours) indicates hard
hitters.
What is the glory score for individual members? How
many 10K plus players are there? How does it compare to our team?
How many members of the team appear to contribute? (This is not
always up to date!)
Are they aggressive
players? Do they have strong defences?
We may want to find a team within our faction league.
Click on the winner’s podium
on the bottom right of screen, select My
Faction League
Look at their Position,
Glory and Att & Def stats, how do they
compare to ours?
When choosing the type of
battle, consider what we are strong at. Our lower level members don’t always
have underwater units.
Ask for advice, a second (or even third) opinion; sometimes just leave the decision.
We will not win every war, but we have to
create the right opportunities to win.
We all make mistakes don’t lose heart if your
first battle results in a loss!
Good luck - sig
Thanks Siggy, I got it. Stumpy.

DeleteThat's good advise. It drives me crazy when we get into a war that we can't win. If you are not sure about accepting a war, let's first talk about it. We are getting to the point that we are good. We just need to be smart. Thanks Siggy- Mike
ReplyDeleteMany thanks Mike

ReplyDeleteThank you siggy for all you hard work. Declaring on faction wars is one of the most important things are members can learn about. We can't always fight the easy wars, but we should always pick wars that are close to our fighting strength and numbers, To easy factions bring us little rewards and cost us resources just as a harder faction will. We all missjudge at times, If you have doubts please ask before engaging in a war. JohnD
ReplyDeleteThanks John, appreciation spurs my motivation :)
