Top Ten Tips for Building Your Base - Two

1.  Make sure you've read the part One tips, are you doing everything?

2.  Surround your weapons factories with boosters; the best value for coins is the War Plane which gives 35%. 

Level 2 Nuke? 14 Hrs to build - surrounded with boosters – 2 Hrs 41 mins!

3.  You should fuse every tank, plane or sub to Lvl IV.  You shouldn't be donating anything less!

4.  You should, by now, have Fusion Centres – they too can be boosted to shorten the build time.

Above ground, they can be fused with Missile Attack, First Aid and Smoke Screen.

Underwater, you can use all the above, plus Acid, Napalm and Laser Sight.

Each unit can have up to 10 fusions; to take them higher, just keep clicking on the booster until you get to the limit. (More boosters take more time so plan in advance). Once boosted, a unit cannot be fused anymore.

5.  Consider changing oil storage, energy plants and oil production to something that gives greater reward for less space, again, these can be boosted.

6.  Fuse units in either the Large Airfield or the Large Vehicle Factory to cut costs, particularly those which require hearts. 

7.  Base Structures can be made in the Development Facility. The units get added to the point values of your 6 units (depending on whether you are attacking or defending - Some are offensive and some are defensive). 

They don't get destroyed during battles. 

These do not work in faction battles. 

They can significantly affect the outcome of stand alone PvP battles.

8.  The Military Council building also adds to your battles (not faction) by increasing your defence and attack of each unit deployed.  This essential item can be boosted to over 2000 att & def points dependent upon what you can afford.

9.  The Research Centre unlocks new upgrades, improves existing buildings and offers temporary boosts i.e. an immediate 24 hrs increased defence by 5, 10 or 20% (or all three if you have sufficient research centres). A normal upgrade can take many days, for something like “fuse to lvl 5”

10.  The Special Operations building is a good place to acquire gold stars. Assuming you have plenty of coins, ignore all fights until you find one which pays gold stars. Be prepared, some of these can be quite hard fights.
